At the WealthBriefingAsia Hong Kong Awards 2016, LGT was named “Best Private Bank - Client Service“ and shortlisted for “Best Pure-Play Bank”. The award honors the best provider within the global private banking, wealth management and trusted advisor community.
The Banker, a long-established journal for the banking industry, recognized LGT as "Bank of the Year in Liechtenstein". For each of the 120 countries, the Banker awards the best performing bank of the previous year.

In the growth strategy category, LGT impressed the jury following a quantitative examination of various parameters such as the asset flows, profitability, number of relationship managers and number of clients, as well as a qualitative assessment of the results. LGT was also able to assert itself against numerous other competitors in the social responsibility category.
