CHL: Start of the eighth finals

October 28, 2021

For some big names, it was a short dream: traditional clubs like Eisbären Berlin and EV Zug have already been eliminated in the group stage of the Champions Hockey League (CHL).

On November 16, the knockout phase begins: no more mistakes are allowed – because the CHL season is definitely over for the loser of the two-legged tournament, which is played in first and second rounds.

Teams such as multiple CHL winners Frölunda Gothenburg and Adler Mannheim, as well as the two Swiss clubs Fribourg Gotteron and the ZSC Lions, will therefore present themselves at the highest level of play so that they can lift the sought-after trophy aloft after the finals on March 1.

LGT has been sponsoring the CHL since 2017, as the logo on the top scorer's kit shows, among other things.
