Players and fans around the world have had to wait a long time, but now it is finally starting: the 2021 World Women's Curling Championship in Canada.

Originally scheduled to take place in Switzerland in March, this championship was previously cancelled due to the complications caused by the global pandemic. Instead, between 30 April and 9 May, it will be the final event held in the specially developed curling "bubble" in Calgary.

Starting on Friday 30 April, the teams will play in 23 sessions of round-robin play. After that, the top six teams qualify for the play-off stage. The finals will be held on Sunday, May 9.

LGT has been supporting curling events worldwide for over ten years. At the Women's World Championship, LGT is the title and main sponsor, thus presenting itself to a sports-loving audience worldwide. In addition to various advertising appearances at the event, such as ads on modern LED boards, LGT is also present on the athletes' clothing. Commercials and digital presentations complete the sponsorship.
