At the awards ceremony of the renowned WealthBriefing magazine at the beginning of November, LGT Middle East received three awards. It was designated “Best Private Bank – ESG Offering” and “Pure Play Private Bank” and also received the award for “Best Wealth Management Team Offering Family Governance Advice” making it the best private bank in the Middle East and the Nothern Africa region in these three categories.
LGT Middle East was able to convince the 18-member jury of private bankers and independent consultants with top performances in all three areas. On the one hand, LGT impressed with its many years of experience with sustainable investment solutions as well as its long-term value creation for all its stakeholders and came out on top as the best private bank in terms of “ESG Offering”. On the other hand, LGT stood out from its competitors with its high financial stability and as an independent institution with long-term client relationships that offers individual traditional as well as alternative solutions, and therefore was named the best “Pure Play Private Bank”. Last but not least, the jury was particularly impressed by LGT Middle East's processes and structures in the area of family governance and its way of supporting families in important discussions and finding the best possible solution. The jury thus presented it with the award for the best family governance advisory.
Peter Schaer, Senior Executive Officer LGT Middle East, is very pleased with the accolades: “The award for our ESG Offering is a great confirmation of our efforts in this very important area and motivates us to continue on our path. The award in the area of family governance, another of LGT's key offerings, also means great praise, with the team effort being highlighted here in particular. To be considered an excellent partner for our clients with comprehensive solutions in traditional and alternative investments and thus awarded the best ‘Pure Play’ private bank in the Middle East and North Africa region – only nine years after we started with a small branch here in Dubai – makes me particularly proud. These outstanding accolades are only possible because of the extraordinary commitment of all my colleagues here in Dubai and in the other LGT locations.”
This year, for the eighth time, WealthBriefing is honoring private banks in the Middle East and Northern Africa that stand out from their peers through innovation, top performance and their particularly strong client focus in the current year.
